New Horizons was started by Paula Bloom who also founded (1985) the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership. New Horizons has a decades long history of providing books, assessments, and support services to early childhood leaders across the U.S. Todd Bloom, Paula’s son, entered the New Horizons business in 2022 as its president. Todd’s career, like that of Paula’s, has focused on teaching, learning, and leadership. First, as an elementary school teacher and, later, as a researcher, education consultant, and organization executive, Todd has maintained an unwavering dedication to advancing the positive impact of teaching and learning.
